I challenged myself with this one. I decided to wear my favorite pair of shoes (first time I’ve worn these, I was in New York pacing up and down Mercer Street attending Kylie Pop Up Shop during New York Fashion Week) and paired them with an outfit, only using items in my closet that I have not worn (or worn once). I went to New York last summer to visit my best friend, who attends school there. Being the first time there (not including when I was a young kid), we went on a budget shopping spree — if that is a true thing. One of the many stops that was made (in addition to Zara, Topshop, Uniqlo and H&M to name a few) was visiting Forever21 in Times Square, which was 3 stories high. One item I purchased happened to be a sheer bodysuit. Ever since it was purchased, it has never left my closet. The second item is a pinafore purchased from Topshop. It was purchased to wear to a night art event over a year ago and have not been worn since either. As for my Kate Spade handbag, it was bought for me for Christmas by my wonderful sister (Kate Spade is my ultimate favorite handbag designer) and multi-color bags scares me and are definitely out of my comfort zone but I definitely think I made it work. Tell me what you think?
